When I got back to my apartment from my Microbiology classes, I decided to get mail & do laundry. And my instincts suddenly "tell" me to lock the balcony door and also to lock my door every time I got in and out just to retrieve mail and load/unload my laundry--I sometimes do leave one of the doors unlocked even for something quick =/. Guess what: a few hours before finishing this post, a neighbor of mine in this apartment complex got majorly robbed at the 2nd floor, across from where I live (yea, I live 2nd floor) & was admitted to the hospital. Cops are all over the complex, with the yellow "Do Not Cross" ribbons on the garage entry way and other pathways.
Yup, I guess I definitely should follow & watch closely to my instincts, even though I may not realize they actually kicked in.
